All of our lessons are child-led and we focus on developing independent swimming and water safety skills. Children learn best through play so our lessons are fun and engaging.

Yes! Our JelliENGAGE programme is perfect for children with additional needs.
Babies can start from 12 weeks old. They do not need to have their vaccinations to be able to start swimming, this is in line with Government guidelines.
No, it is normal for children to be upset/overwhelmed during their first lesson as it is a new experience but they tend to settle after their first few lessons. A trial isn’t a true representation of how a child will be long term.
We recommend introducing goggles for children age 3+. The mask style goggles with a clip that fastens at the back are the best.
We give termly achievements certificates out and we also have a Jelli Journey Award tracker that you can download and print. We also sell these at a cost of £1.50 each. You can also track your childs progress using our customer portal.
We do not operate in pools colder than 29 degrees.
30 minutes.
All lessons should ideally be paid monthly direct debit. We may take an upfront payment for the term if you require.
Unfortunately not.
If we have to cancel a lesson due to an error/issue on our side, we will always offer a catch up lesson at the earliest convenience.
Please let us know using the customer portal that you are not attending. Catch up lessons are not offered if you cannot attend.
No, we have a very unique but successful way of teaching. It takes longer for a child to swim with armbands as it takes longer to gain confidence as you have to reduce buoyancy gradually by removing an armband one at a time. We teach using pool noodles and kickboards with limited buoyancy to ensure the child can find their balance in the water without the support of unnecessary buoyancy aids.
Our terms and condition state 28 days notice must be given to cancel your membership with us.
The app is called ThinkSmartPortal but we will send you a link to the portal and the app when you enrol with us with the log in details.
You can see which award your child is up to and any previous achievements. You can also notify us of any absences, change your contact details and see the term dates.
